Job Summary
Lead before and after school programs for primary-aged children, managing activities like sports, cooking, and arts while ensuring child safety and wellbeing. Collaborate with the Coordinator to support team development, mentor staff, and build strong connections with families and the school community. Handle daily operations including health management plans, risk compliance, and administrative duties. Attend fortnightly training sessions and contribute to strategic inclusion and quality improvement planning.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's in Education or is working towards it (or ACECQA recognised equivalent) like Youth Work, Community Services or Primary/Secondary Education
- Holds a Working with Children Check
- First Aid training
- CPR training
- Anaphylaxis training
- Asthma training
- Knows child protecting and safety standards inside out
- Understand the My Time, Our Place framework and National Regulations
- OSH, teaching, camp or coaching experience
- Monday to Friday shifts
- Before school care: 6:30am to 9am
- After school care: 3pm to 6:00pm
- 30 hours per week
