Job Summary
Support designers by taking over project files to build full suites of branded assets and organize creative asset libraries. Conduct research on design trends and competitor visuals to inspire projects, then take feedback from senior designers and implement revisions effectively. Collaborate on teams by supporting image sourcing, Photoshop mockups, and photo retouching while creating social media assets, white paper designs, and email banners for marketing and internal teams. This role requires strong time management, attention to detail, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with a preference for event marketing experience and presentation design skills. Candidates must work in-person at the New York office 2-3 days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Essential time management skills to ensure timely completion of design projects
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for design
- Ability to take creative direction and incorporate feedback effectively
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Professional working knowledge of industry standard design software and tools including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign)
- Ability to turn concepts into reality utilizing strong typography and design skills
- Requires ability to operate a computer, telecommunications devices and other office equipment for prolonged periods of time throughout the work day
- Requires the ability to work and cooperate with other employees and clients at all levels and from diverse backgrounds to exchange ideas, information and opinions to facilitate the task at hand
- Requires clarity of near vision
- Location: New York, NY, must reside in tri-state area and work an in-person work schedule and be able to go into office 2-3 days a week
- This role is in-person and must go into the FIRST office 2-3 days per week, subject to change at any time
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in events and/or experiential marketing is preferred
- Presentation design experience is a plus
- Willingness to learn and take creative direction
- Proficient working knowledge of After Effect a plus
- Presentation design experience with programs such as PowerPoint, Keynote and Google Slides preferred
- Artworking experience working in large formats graphics and directly with print vendors
- Experience with using Monk Skin Tone Scale (MST) is a plus but not required
- Motion Graphics experience is preferred but not required
