Job Summary
Retail Trainee in Goodwill Southern California’s Supported Employment Program (SEP). Trainees work in a small group (3–4 participants) with a Job Coach and Retail Management to gain hands-on experience in a real retail environment, with the goal of transitioning into Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE) in the community. Responsibilities include providing friendly customer and donor service, following safety guidelines, maintaining a clean store, assisting donors in the donation room, processing and pricing donations, hanging and tagging apparel, supporting sales floor recovery, and participating in tasks aligned with individual program goals. The program offers hands-on skill building, coaching and mentorship, and a pathway toward future employment.

- Enrollment in Goodwill SoCal’s Supported Employment Program (required)
- No prior work experience needed — all training is provided
