Job Summary
Conduct emergency nursing care in the Stratford General Hospital Emergency Department, managing patient triage, acuity assessment, and 12-lead ECG interpretation. Provide advanced cardiac life support and pediatric life support interventions while working independently with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Maintain current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and hold ACLS certification. Recent two years of emergency or critical care experience is preferred, along with APLS, TNCC, or ETLS credentials. Full-time employment offers a salary range of $41.15 to $58.98 per hour. Required Qualifications
- Current registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Paediatric and adult assessment, including triage and Acuity Scale
- 12 lead ECG Interpretation
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to plan, organize and problem solve
Desired Qualifications
- Recent clinical experience (minimum two years) in Emergency/Critical Care Nursing preferred
- Advance Paediatric Life Support (APLS) or Paediatric Advance Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Emergency Nursing Certificate (ENC)
- Emergency Trauma Life Support (ETLS)
- Trauma Management
