Job Summary
Research, develop, and implement risk mitigation strategies for complex Gas Turbine Power Plant Projects, including domestic and international scopes. Author claims settlement agreements, negotiate insurance recoveries, and drive supplier recovery while managing Contract Change Order execution. Perform pre-award risk analysis, draft Change Orders and notifications, and prepare claims mitigation presentations for customers. Maintain databases and electronic files to track vendor recovery and insurance recovery, ensuring timely submission of contractual notifications. Visit customer sites in the US and Latin America to lead contract analysis and obtain management authorization for new projects via the Electronic Order Release system.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish/English
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years contract administration experience
- Minimum of 5 years project management experience or equivalent experience
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills
- Claims management experience
- Contract reading and writing experience
- Ability to travel to US and Latin America project sites as required
- Ability to work in cross functional teams remotely located
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Management
- Five plus years claims management experience
- Prime contract commercial experience (domestic and international)
- Construction claims negotiation experience
- Developer or EPC Experience, preferably in the Power Industry
