Job Summary
Infectious Diseases physician needed at Geisinger Community Medical Center to diagnose and treat infectious diseases across all organ systems, including AIDS-related conditions and travel-associated illnesses. Inpatient care with 1-2 clinical days per week; interviews patients, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, designs treatment plans, prescribes medications, and maintains patient records. Work is in a clinical and office environment within a Level II trauma center setting; involves collaboration with a Geisinger team and adherence to organizational policies. Education required: MD or DO; license to practice in Pennsylvania.
