Job Summary
The Electronic Validation Engineer at ALTEN Mexico will focus on ensuring alternative electronic components meet functional, safety, reliability, and compliance standards for automotive ECUs. Responsibilities include performing risk-based delta validation, creating and executing validation plans, analyzing test results, and preparing technical reports. The role requires collaboration with Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Suppliers, utilizing tools like JIRA, CANoe/CANalyzer, and others while adhering to industry standards such as ISO 26262. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, a minimum of 5 years in automotive electronic validation, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years in automotive electronic validation
- Experience with electronic validation & test execution
- Risk & impact analysis
- Test plan creation and requirements traceability
- Data analysis & technical reporting
- Knowledge of industry standards (ISO 26262, A-SPICE, AEC-Q100/Q200)
- Hands‐on experience with Arena PLM, JIRA
- Familiarity with component quality and PLM workflows
- Strong understanding of system and component requirements management
- English level B2–C1
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using CANoe/CANalyzer, Siemens Capital, Altium, Ansys
- Experience with MATLAB, SIMULINK and LabVIEW
- Python experience
- Design tools such as 3DX
- Experience on technical reports for global clients
