Deliver plumbing supplies and equipment using a 26ft box truck to residential and commercial sites, safely loading/unloading materials, planning efficient routes with GPS, coordinating with dispatchers and customers, and maintaining accurate delivery records. Provide professional customer service, perform routine vehicle inspections, and comply with safety regulations and company policies to ensure on-time, intact deliveries of materials.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
- 2-3 years’ experience as a delivery driver
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and transportation regulations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading
- Strong organizational skills and ability to plan routes/use GPS
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the quality of delivered materials
- Ability to maintain accurate records of deliveries
- Willingness to perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle
- Valid CDL (as stated in responsibilities)
