Job Summary
Estimator/Project Manager – Fire Alarms is a dual-function leadership role responsible for estimating, quoting, and end-to-end delivery of fire alarm minor works projects, including remedial works arising from inspections, compliance requirements, and customer requests. You will supervise a small team, plan your week to maintain the work pipeline, provide technical leadership to alarm technicians and supervisors, liaise with customers, contractors, suppliers, and compliance teams, and ensure adherence to ISO and H&S procedures. Requires 3-5 years of fire protection experience with estimating and project management, strong knowledge of NZ Fire Standards, and the right to work in New Zealand. Pre-employment drug testing will be conducted.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of fire protection experience, including estimating and project management
- Strong knowledge of NZ Fire Standards and Compliance requirements
- Project planning and organisation
- Accountability and ownership
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities
- Proficient Excel and general computer skills including industry software
- Hold the right to work in Aotearoa/New Zealand
