Job Summary
Provide geoscience technical and regulatory support to assist asset team managers, geologists, geophysicists and engineers with team, departmental, and organizational assignments and goals. Create, input data, update and maintain Petra and SMT projects; import/export of cultural data, well data, directional surveys, logs (rastar and LAS), production data, formation tops and scout information; populate and manipulate data in Excel and Access; import formation tops, perfs, pressure and production data into PETRA; research data from inhouse and external geological log libraries; digitize and scan/import structure, isopach and land maps; prepare presentation material for internal and partner meetings; adhere to company values and standards; maintain data inventory; support other duties as assigned."
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years minimum of oil and gas exploration geotechnical experience
- Proficiency in data management
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Petra and SMT
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) and Photoshop
- Education: Graduation from high school or GED or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred (Geoscience or GIS)
