Job Summary
Evaluate students' needs by identifying sensory and gross/fine motor delays using standardized and non-standardized tests. Develop, monitor, and implement therapy programs while providing consultative services to school personnel. Prepare written reports of assessments for parents, teachers, and administrators. Consult with teachers, parents, administrators, medical personnel, and agencies regarding educational, social, physical, emotional, and vocational needs. Serve as case manager and member of the Individual Education Plan Team. Provide remedial instruction to students individually, in small groups, or in inclusive classrooms. Submit progress reports to parents, school personnel, and other agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
- Licensed in the State of New Hampshire bi-annually
- Registered by the National Board Certification of Occupational Therapy every three years
- Valid driver's license
- Own transportation
