Job Summary
Elementary 4th grade teacher for a 1-year position in the Manchester School District. Plan a program of study that meets individual needs and abilities, create a classroom environment conducive to learning, guide the learning process toward curriculum objectives and establish clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects, employ instructional methods and materials appropriate for meeting objectives and regularly assess student progress with progress reports, diagnose learning disabilities and seek referrals as needed, following the MEA contract and school calendar. The role encompasses planning, instructional delivery, assessment, and collaboration within the school community to support students' development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- State of NH Teacher Certification in Elementary Education (1810 or 1811) or other approved certification status
- Plan a program of study to meet individual student needs; create a conducive classroom environment; guide learning toward curriculum objectives; employ instructional methods; assess student progress; diagnose learning disabilities; adhere to MEA contract and school calendar
