26-27 Teacher - Secondary Science

Teach secondary science to students, implement a variety of instructional strategies, diagnose and evaluate student abilities and progress, monitor progress, and plan a program of study to meet individual student needs. Create an effective classroom environment, assess student accomplishments with regular progress reports, refer students for ESL or reading services as needed, implement district initiatives, collaborate with department and grade-level teachers, maintain accurate records, attend meetings, and uphold safety and applicable policies. Stay current on instructional practices and participate in committee work as assigned.
