Build leadership among staff and administration to foster shared ownership of the school vision. Make biology content engaging by aligning instruction with common core standards and 21st-century skills including global awareness, financial literacy, and ICT. Teach revised core content emphasizing critical thinking and problem-solving while facilitating instruction through varied methods and technology integration. Assess student learning and facilitate teamwork to develop leadership qualities. Collaborate with families and adapt teaching for students with special needs while demonstrating ethical principles and organizational core values. Perform other duties as assigned. Current NC certified teachers must upload official transcripts, teaching license, and resume; background checks with local and state law enforcement are required.
