Build leadership among staff and administration to foster shared ownership of the school's vision. Make science instruction engaging by aligning content with common core standards, essential standards, and 21st-century literacy including global awareness and civic literacy. Teach revised core content emphasizing critical thinking, problem-solving, and ICT literacy while facilitating instruction through varied methods and technology integration. Assess student learning and develop teamwork skills through collaborative methods. Work collaboratively with families and significant adults, adapt teaching for students with special needs, and demonstrate ethical principles of honesty and integrity. Serve as a team player and role model supporting organizational core values of caring and fairness. Perform other duties as assigned. Background check with local and state law enforcement agencies is required.
