Build leadership among staff and administration to foster shared ownership of the school vision. Make core science content engaging by aligning instruction with common core standards, essential standards, and 21st-century literacy skills including global awareness, financial literacy, and ICT. Facilitate learning through varied instructional methods utilizing technology, while assessing student progress and promoting team development. Collaborate with families and adapt teaching for students with special needs, demonstrating ethical principles of integrity and respect. Serves as a role model supporting continuous quality improvement and organizational values of caring and fairness. Requires NC certification, current transcripts, and a background check with local and state law enforcement.
