Build leadership among staff and administration to foster shared ownership of the school's vision. Make science instruction engaging and relevant by aligning content with common core standards, essential standards, and 21st-century literacy skills including critical thinking, problem-solving, and ICT. Facilitate learning through varied instructional methods that integrate technology and use diverse assessment strategies to develop student teamwork and leadership qualities. Collaborate with families and significant adults, adapt teaching for students with special needs, and demonstrate ethical principles of honesty and integrity. Perform other duties as assigned while serving as a role model for continuous quality improvement.
