Build leadership among staff and administration to foster shared ownership of the school's vision. Make content engaging by aligning instruction with common core standards and 21st-century literacy skills including global awareness, civic literacy, and ICT. Teach existing core content while facilitating learning through varied instructional methods and technology integration. Assess student progress and develop leadership qualities through collaborative team work. Work collaboratively with families and significant adults, adapting teaching for students with special needs while demonstrating ethical principles of honesty and integrity. Perform other duties as assigned. Current Certified Teachers must upload transcripts, NC Teaching License, and resume. Background check with local and state law enforcement is required.
