Job Summary
School-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Master’s degree in CSD/SLP and IL licensure, providing individualized education/treatment programs for students with communication disorders in a school setting near Arlington Heights, IL. Responsibilities include organizing materials and environment for the speech and language program, delivering educationally related communication interventions, assessing speech and language skills, consulting with teachers to develop IEP goals, training team members in communication interventions, and communicating progress with school staff, parents, and students. Offers comprehensive benefits, credentialing reimbursements, housing allowance for eligible travelers, 401(k) with 4% matching, weekly pay, and ongoing clinical support. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30–3:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Current IL SLP license
- PEL with SLP endorsement
- Prefer experience with AAC, functional communication needs, speech sound disorders, & IEP paperwork
