Job Summary
School-based SLP to develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. Responsibilities include managing materials and environment for the language program, providing educationally related communication intervention, assessing speech and language skills, consulting with teachers to develop IEP goals, providing resources and training to team members, and regularly communicating progress to school staff, parents, and students. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:30-3:30pm; licensure reimbursement and credentialing support are provided; housing allowance for eligible travelers; weekly pay and clinical mentorship available.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Current IL SLP license
- PEL with SLP endorsement
