Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. Assess speech and language skills, consult with teachers to develop IEP goals and objectives, provide resources, modeling strategies and training to other team members in communication interventions, and regularly communicate results of assessments and progress with school staff, parents, and students.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Current IL SLP license
- PEL with SLP endorsement
- Prefer experience with AAC, functional communication needs, speech sound disorders, & IEP paperwork
