Job Summary
School-based Speech-Language Pathologist delivering individualized education/treatment programs for students with communication differences due to developmental disabilities or injuries. Develops and implements IEP goals, assesses speech and language skills, provides educationally related intervention across appropriate settings, shares resources and modeling strategies with team members, and communicates results and progress to teachers, administrators, parents, and students. Works Monday–Friday during daytime hours in a supportive school environment, with opportunities for professional development and collaboration to support young learners.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Current IL SLP license
- PEL with SLP endorsement
- Prefer experience with AAC, functional communication needs, speech sound disorders, & IEP paperwork
