Job Summary
As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a summer school opportunity near Arlington Heights, IL, you will develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students with communication differences, provide language and speech interventions in school settings, assess students for speech-language disorders, collaborate with teachers to develop IEP goals, and train team members in communication interventions. The role involves organizing materials and the environment for the speech and language program, communicating progress to school staff and families, and supporting licensure/certification costs with credentialing reimbursements. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM. This position offers a housing allowance for eligible travelers, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with matching, weekly pay, and ongoing clinical guidance.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Current IL SLP license
- PEL with SLP endorsement
- Prefer experience with AAC, functional communication needs, speech sound disorders, & IEP paperwork
