Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist positions in school-based settings working with students near Arlington Heights, IL. Develops and implements individualized education/treatment programs for students with communication impairments; assesses speech and language skills; collaborates with teachers to develop IEP goals and objectives; provides resources, modeling strategies, and training to team members in communication interventions; communicates progress with school staff, parents, and students as appropriate. Must hold an IL SLP license and PEL with SLP endorsement; AAC experience and experience with IEP paperwork preferred. Work hours are 8:30 AM–3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Compensation includes competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, credentialing reimbursements, and weekly pay. This is a temporary summer opportunity in the Arlington Heights/Clarendon Hills area.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Current IL SLP license
- PEL with SLP endorsement
- Prefer experience with AAC, functional communication needs, speech sound disorders, & IEP paperwork
