Job Summary
As an SLP, you will develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a school environment while collaborating with teachers and specialists to support communication development. Key duties include managing materials and environment for the speech and language program, providing educationally related intervention for students with language, speech, or hearing disorders in diverse settings, assessing speech and language skills and contributing to IEP goals, offering resources and training to team members, and communicating progress to school staff, parents, and students. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM. Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Current IL SLP license
- PEL with SLP endorsement
- Prefer experience with AAC, functional communication needs, speech sound disorders, & IEP paperwork
