School-based Speech-Language Pathologist provides individualized education/treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. Responsibilities include organizing materials and environment for the speech-language program, delivering educationally related communication interventions, assessing students’ speech and language skills, consulting with teachers to develop IEP goals, providing resources and training to team members, and regularly communicating progress to school staff, parents, and students. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30–3:30, in Schiller Park, IL, with a temporary summer assignment. Requires Master’s degree in SLP, IL SLP license, and PEL with SLP endorsement; preferred experience with AAC, IEP paperwork.
