Job Summary
As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at PediaStaff for a Summer School opportunity near Arlington Heights, IL, you will develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students with communication disorders in a school setting. You will assess speech and language skills, consult with teachers to develop IEP goals and objectives, provide resources and training to team members in communication interventions, manage and organize materials and environment for the speech-language program, and regularly communicate assessment results and progress to school staff, parents, and appropriate students.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Current IL SLP license
- PEL with SLP endorsement
- Prefer experience with AAC, functional communication needs, speech sound disorders, & IEP paperwork
