Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting provides individualized education/treatment programs for students with communication differences or disabilities. Develops and implements student-specific goals aligned with IEPs, assesses speech and language skills, consults with teachers to develop IEP objectives, offers resources and training to team members, and regularly communicates progress to school staff and parents. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30–3:30, with benefits including health coverage, credentialing reimbursements, housing allowance for eligible travelers, 401(k) with matching, weekly pay, and ongoing clinical mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Current IL SLP license
- PEL with SLP endorsement
- Prefer experience with AAC, functional communication needs, speech sound disorders, & IEP paperwork
