Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based opportunity near Arlington Heights, IL. Develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students with communication differences or disabilities. Assess students' speech and language skills, consult with teachers to develop IEP goals, provide resources and training to team members, and regularly report progress to school staff and parents. Position emphasizes pediatric therapy in an educational setting with opportunities for credentialing reimbursements and a housing allowance for eligible travelers. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM. Preferred experience with AAC and IEP paperwork; IL licensure and PEL with SLP endorsement required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Current IL SLP license
- PEL with SLP endorsement
- Prefer experience with AAC, functional communication needs, speech sound disorders, & IEP paperwork
