Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries in a school setting. Responsibilities include managing materials/equipment for the speech-language program; providing educationally related communication intervention; assessing speech and language skills; aligning with IEP goals; offering resources, modeling strategies, and training to team members; and communicating progress with school staff, parents, and students. Hours are 8:30 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday, near Arlington Heights, IL. Eligible for housing per diem and credentialing reimbursements; comprehensive medical/dental/vision benefits and 401(k) with 4% match; weekly pay and ongoing clinical guidance.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Current IL SLP license
- PEL with SLP endorsement
- Prefer experience with AAC, functional communication needs, speech sound disorders, & IEP paperwork
