Job Summary
School-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) needed to develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students with communication differences or disabilities. Responsibilities include managing materials and environment for the language program, providing educationally related intervention for language/speech/hearing disorders across settings, assessing students and consulting with teachers on IEP goals, offering resources and training to team members, and communicating progress to school staff, parents, and students. Position supports young learners in a collaborative school setting with comprehensive benefits, credentialing reimbursements, and weekly pay. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30–3:30. Located near Arlington Heights and Algonquin, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Current IL SLP license
- PEL with SLP endorsement
- Prefer experience with AAC, functional communication needs, speech sound disorders, & IEP paperwork
