Job Summary
School-based Speech-Language Pathologist to develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been affected by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. Role involves working with young learners in a supportive school environment, assessing speech and language skills, consulting with teachers to develop IEP goals, providing intervention in multiple settings, offering resources and training to team members, and regularly communicating progress to school staff, parents, and students. Responsibilities include managing materials and equipment for the speech and language program, delivering educationally related communication interventions, collaborating on IEP goals, and supporting AAC and other communication needs. Hours: Monday–Friday 8:30–3:30pm; benefits include comprehensive insurance, housing allowance for eligible travelers, credentialing reimbursements, 401(k) with 4% matching, weekly pay, and ongoing clinical guidance. Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Current IL SLP license
- PEL with SLP endorsement
- Prefer experience with AAC, functional communication needs, speech sound disorders, & IEP paperwork
