Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist role in a school-based setting near Arlington Heights, IL. The SLP will develop and implement individualized education and treatment programs for students with communication impairments, assess speech and language skills, consult with teachers to develop IEP goals, provide resources and training to team members, and communicate progress to school staff, parents, and students. Responsibilities include managing materials and equipment for the speech and language program, delivering educationally related interventions in various settings, and collaborating with educational teams to support student communication outcomes. This is a Summer opportunity with hours 8:30 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday, offering compensation in the hourly range of $50–$68 with benefits such as insurance, housing allowance for eligible travelers, licensure/certification reimbursements, and 401(k) matching.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Current IL SLP license
- PEL with SLP endorsement
- Prefer experience with AAC, functional communication needs, speech sound disorders, & IEP paperwork
