Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for school-based programs near Arlington Heights, IL. Develops and implements individualized education/treatment programs for students with communication differences or disabilities. Conducts assessments of speech-language skills, collaborates with teachers to develop IEP goals, provides intervention for language, speech, or hearing disorders, models strategies for team members, and communicates progress to school staff and parents. Role involves managing materials and equipment for the speech-language program, supporting AAC and functional communication needs, and working Monday–Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM with comprehensive benefits, housing allowance for eligible travelers, credentialing reimbursements, 401(k) with matching, and weekly pay.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Current IL SLP license
- PEL with SLP endorsement
- Prefer experience with AAC, functional communication needs, speech sound disorders, & IEP paperwork
