Job Summary
As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting, develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been affected by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. Work with young learners in a supportive school environment, provide educationally related communication intervention across settings, assess speech and language skills, consult with teachers to develop IEP goals, model strategies for team members, and communicate progress to school staff, parents, and students.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Current IL SLP license
- PEL with SLP endorsement
- Prefer experience with AAC, functional communication needs, speech sound disorders, & IEP paperwork
