Job Summary
The Principal is accountable for the operation of the school, ensuring compliance with Archdiocesan policies and participation in the performance review process. Responsibilities include promoting a Catholic identity, ensuring academic excellence through effective curricula, and managing school viability with strategic planning and budget oversight. The role also includes general administration, communication strategies, and staff development. The position requires a Master’s degree, relevant state certification, and a minimum of three years in educational roles, preferably within Catholic schools.
Required Qualifications
- Active, practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church
- Master’s degree (or higher) in school administration or related field
- State certification in school administration
- Archdiocesan Coordinator of Religious Education (CRE)
- At least three years (full-time) prior experience in education as a teacher or administrator (Catholic school preferred)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a leadership role within a Catholic school
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
