Job Summary
ELA Teacher for 6th-8th grade in Naples, FL. Responsible for delivering standards-aligned instruction, using data to inform instruction and interventions, and creating a safe, engaging learning environment. Plan and deliver daily lessons, implement assessments, provide targeted small-group and individual instruction, establish consistent classroom routines, and maintain strong communication with families. Support diverse learners (ESE, 504, ELL) with accommodations/modifications. Attend meetings, participate in PD/coaching, and uphold school policies. Ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree or higher and Florida teaching certification, and will complete Level 2 background screening.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Valid or eligible Florida teaching certification
- Background screening: Level 2 background check through Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse (HB 531)
