Job Summary
Provide first aid and administer prescribed health treatments to students and staff on school premises. Administers medications as prescribed (including insulin/Diastat), conducts blood sugar monitoring, oxygen management, tube feeding, and related procedures per state regulations. May assist with physical/occupational therapy routines, develop and maintain Health Care Plans and 504 plans, and help with health assessments and medical documentation. Maintains health room and records, communicates with parents/physicians, and supports emergency preparedness. Role involves coordinating health services, delivering health education, and ensuring safe, compliant care for medically fragile students within a school setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current Washington State LPN or Registered Nurse License
- First Aid Certification
- CPR certification
