Job Summary
Provide instruction and maintain a normal classroom environment in the absence of the regular teacher by utilizing provided lesson plans or developing assignments when plans are unavailable. Supervise students across traditional and non-traditional settings while conducting yourself responsibly and adhering to district guidelines. Leave feedback regarding duties performed and perform other assigned tasks as required by the Principal or School Board Policy. Hold a high school diploma, complete on-line introductory training, and pass a drug screen and Level 2 background clearance. Preference is given to candidates with a valid Florida Teaching Certificate.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a High School or G.E.D. diploma.
- Be at least eighteen years of age.
- Successful completion of on-line Introductory Teacher Training for Substitute Teachers at www.edtrainingcenter.com.
- Pre-employment drug screening.
- Level 2 Background Clearance.
Desired Qualifications
- Preference given to those with a valid Florida Teaching Certificate.
