Job Summary
Assist the head coach in building and leading a Christ-centered volleyball program aligned with Aug Prep's mission. Model servant leadership through humility and integrity while participating in year-round vision, including in-season and off-season programming. Plan and implement comprehensive training focused on skill development, team tactics, and mental toughness, teaching fundamental and advanced volleyball skills. Build strong relationships with student-athletes, families, and staff to establish team expectations reflecting integrity and respect. Ensure athletes meet academic, behavioral, and eligibility standards while maintaining compliance with WIAA and school policies. Manage equipment, uniforms, and inventory responsibly.
Required Qualifications
- Alignment with Aug Prep's Mission, South Star, and Christian values
- Adherence to biblical standards of conduct
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and lead with integrity
- Experience in coaching volleyball (3+ years preferred)
Desired Qualifications
- A deep belief in the ability of every child and commitment to excellence
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- CPR and AED certification preferred
- Active participation in a local church
- Team player with a service mindset and high character
