Assess student needs using specialized skills and provide input for departmental and system-wide program planning and evaluation. Employ appropriate social work methods to address issues affecting educational progress while maintaining an advocacy role for students' educational, social, emotional, and material needs. Provide consultation and in-service experiences for teachers and staff, serving as a liaison between home, school, and community to promote effective resource utilization. Organize time and resources to maintain accurate case records and documentation, adhering to a professional code of ethics and organizational core values. Perform other duties as assigned. Requires a four-year accredited degree with certification in school social work and a background check. Reports to an appropriate administrator.
