Job Summary
Permanent substitute teachers provide instructional and classroom management for teachers who are absent, adhere to curriculum and lesson plans, take attendance, assign and explain homework, supervise students in hallways and cafeteria, comply with regulations, and compile a report for the returning teacher. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preferred Bachelor's degree in teaching and a certificate in teaching or substitute teaching in Ohio; candidates must pass a background check and demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
