Job Summary
Support the classroom teacher in providing educational opportunities for Kindergarten students. Assist and adhere to plans or accommodations required by IEP/behavior/healthcare plans. Perform duties such as small group or individual activities, assisting with assessments and data collection, and preparing instructional materials. Provide supervision and transportation-related support (bus monitoring) as needed, operate and assist with hardware/software and assistive technology, and help maintain classroom housekeeping and inventory. Follow safety procedures and school policies, participate in ongoing training, and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- Education level must be in accordance with federal, state and local guidelines; certification as mandated by the Professional Standards Commission.
