Job Summary
Paraprofessional in ISD 200 supporting students in the LEAP program at Hastings High School. Responsibilities include assisting the licensed teacher with instructional reinforcement, accommodations, and tracking student progress; data collection and behavior management; supporting student learning across academics, social/emotional needs, and interpersonal skills; assisting with district policies and procedures including emergency procedures and crisis intervention; reinforcing instruction through small group or individual activities; supervising students during lunch and during arrival/departure; upholding respect, equity, and confidentiality; performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet one of the following requirements: at least two years of qualifying college credits (usually 60 credits in Minnesota) through an accredited institution of higher education, or; an associates or higher degree, with qualifying course work, or; a passing score on a valid and reliable formal assessment.
