Job Summary
The Quad Preparatory School seeks a Middle School SPED Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year to provide academic instruction and social-emotional support to students in our Middle School in collaboration with clinicians. The role includes one-to-one instructional time, pushing into other classrooms, and opportunities for mentorship and professional development while working with twice-exceptional youth. Responsibilities include planning and delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons; regularly assessing students and the curriculum; collaborating with K-12 mathematics teachers; supporting co-curricular programming; maintaining organized records and portfolios; providing scaffolding and resources to empower student learning; collaborating with academic and psychosocial staff to plan cross-curricular projects; communicating progress to parents/guardians via conferences, reports, calls, and emails; adhering to school policies and mission; utilizing Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets); attending meetings and events; and performing other duties as assigned. Required education includes a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics education, elementary education, special education, or a related field, with experience teaching upper elementary or middle school students. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in related fields, specialized training for twice-exceptional youth, and applicable teaching credentials.
