Job Summary
Administer medications, monitor student health, and respond to emergencies while maintaining medical records and training staff. Provide direct student care, enforce discipline, and supervise lunchroom activities to ensure safety and proper seating. Recruit volunteers, organize seminars on parenting and literacy, and facilitate parent involvement in school decision-making. Transport students on designated routes, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintain bus schedules. Collaborate with faculty, parents, and community leaders to support the instructional program and resolve issues.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Minimum typing skills of 35 wpm
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (word processing, spreadsheet, and database)
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Must obtain and maintain a CDL Bus license
- Must obtain and maintain a CDL Bus license

- Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License

- Must be able to communicate orally and in writing with parents, staff, and community leaders
- Must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written form regarding health matters
- Must have finger dexterity and be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of kneeling, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, seeing, hearing, and repetitive motion
- Background check with local and state law enforcement agencies required
