Instruct students and faculty in using and producing media to integrate into the curriculum, while initiating interactions with students, staff, administrations, and the public to promote the media program. Design and implement short and long-range plans balancing skills instruction, literature appreciation, and collection management. Establish procedures for selecting, acquiring, cataloging, and maintaining materials and equipment, then organize the facility to reflect the school's philosophy. Provide opportunities for personal and professional growth for staff and students, adhere to established laws and policies, and submit accurate reports promptly. Requires a four-year degree with media certification and an NC Teaching License.
