26-27 Math Teacher-Academy of Innovation

Develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with the Mississippi Framework and Common Core Curriculum. Prepare lessons accommodating individual student differences and conduct assessments of learning styles to guide instruction. Manage classroom behavior, administer standardized tests, and supervise students during out-of-class activities and field lessons. Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula, work with teacher aides, and utilize technology in the teaching process. Establish open communication with parents, evaluate student growth, and maintain professional competence through in-service education. Participate in Professional Learning Communities, faculty committees, and the sponsorship of approved student activities.
