Job Summary
Supports the implementation of an effective learning recovery program. Conducts learning exercises with individuals and small groups of students. Maintains required records (e.g., student progress, assessment results, tutoring/remediation hours, etc.). Assists with COVID related activities on an as needed basis (e.g., classroom coverage, assisting with lunch protocols, assisting with quarantine reporting, etc.). Follow a structured daily academic schedule. Maintains confidentiality of work related matters. Serves as team player and role model for other employees in the organization; demonstrates a commitment to continuous quality improvement; supports and exhibits organizational core values of caring, respect, integrity, responsibility, high expectations, being customer driven, and valuing fairness. Performs other duties and accepts responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate and one year of training beyond high school or one year of documented experience in this job category.
- Working knowledge of effective methods of supporting tutoring and/or remediation efforts.
- Ability to solve minor problems and follow detailed written and oral instructions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (word processing, spreadsheet, database) and Google Workspace (sheets, docs, drive, etc.).
- Applicant must upload a legible copy of a college or trade school transcript or documentation showing proof of one year training beyond high school in any area.
