Job Summary
Welding/Sheet Metal CTE Teacher responsible for delivering instructional programs, developing lesson plans and assessments, maintaining a safe classroom, communicating with parents/guardians, maintaining student records, collaborating with administrators and staff, monitoring student achievement, attending professional development, and modeling professional ethics. Requires Virginia licensure in Welding and/or Sheet Metal; with 2+ years in the field potentially qualifying for a Technical Professional license. Teaching experience preferred with a rating from a previous employer. Position is 10-month/200-day, located in King George, Virginia. Educational supplements available (Master's +7%, BA +$750, National Board Certification $2,000, Doctorate $2,000).
Required Qualifications
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure in Welding and/or Sheet Metal
- Individuals with a minimum of 2 years of work experience in the field may be eligible for a Technical Professional license
